John Dames

John entered the O&P industry in 2003 when he began his employment with a practice management software company. During his 12 years with the company, John worked with O&P providers offering a wide array of support across all areas of software application. He quickly began to excel in the support of electronic insurance claims and assisted with maintaining claims clearinghouse interfaces, resolving claim denials, facilitated provider enrollments for electronic claim submissions, and other electronic data transactions. With the knowledge and experience gained from working with payers and providers across the country, John began to work independently in 2016 for multiple O&P providers offering a range of services. Prior to joining O&P Insight in 2024, his primary focus was assisting providers with insurance claims billing, claims appeals, payment posting, accounts receivable management, insurance contracting, financial reporting, and more.
